Chris Flynn is a euphonium soloist and private brass instructor based in Stirling, UK. He began learning the euphonium aged 10 under the mentorship of Michael Robertson BEM, and honed his skills with the successful Carnoustie and District Youth Brass Band before joining the Cooperation Band in Glasgow, where he has served as principal euphonium for almost a decade.
In addition to his brass band engagements, Chris has performed multiple times with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra (RSNO), has worked as a session musician for Clockwork Sessions, has performed as part of the Wallace Collection Ensemble, and delivers solo recitals and performances.
In 2023, Chris embarked upon a new musical journey, joining his friend Paula O'Malley (percussion) to form Percussi Aeris, a euphonium/percussion duo.
Chris has also been fortunate enough to have delivered performance masterclasses. Dedicated to elevating the profile of the euphonium, Chris plays exclusively on a Besson Prestige euphonium and is a Besson Performance Artist.
